Welcome to Richard F. Bruch, M.D. Bio, an specialist in Orthopaedic Surgery. Special areas of interest include problems of the foot and rheumatoid arthritis. Dr. Bruch has been the team physician for the Durham Bulls Baseball Team since 1980.
Biography:
Dr. Bruch trained in Chicago at the University of Illinois College of Medicine. Dr. Bruch is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society.
Experienced in a broad range of bone and joint problems, Dr. Bruch enjoys general orthopaedic practice. Special areas of interest include problems of the foot and rheumatoid arthritis. Dr. Bruch has been the team physician for the Durham Bulls Baseball Team since 1980.
Dr. Bruch is strongly committed to medicine as a profession and to the health of the people of North Carolina. Dr. Bruch is active in medical affairs on the local, state and national level. He is a past-president of both the Durham-Orange County Medical Society and the North Carolina Medical Society. He currently serves on the North Carolina delegation to the American Medical Association. Dr. Bruch serves on the State Health Coordinating Council, appointed to this position by Governor Easley.
Dr. Bruch practices at the North Carolina Specialty Hospital, James E. Davis Surgery Center and Durham Regional Hospital.
