Kimberly A. Barrie, M.D.

Biography:

Dr. Barrie is a graduate of Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts. She completed her orthopaedic surgery training at Yale New Haven Hospital. Dr. Barrie completed sub­specialty fellowship training in hand and microvascular surgery at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota.

Dr. Barrie is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the American Medical Association, the American Society for Surgery of the Hand, and the Yale Orthopedic Association.

Dr. Barrie has a broad range of knowledge of orthopaedic problems with subspecialty training in the upper extremity, focusing on the hand and wrist. Special areas of interest include pediatric hand and wrist reconstruc­tion.

Dr. Barrie practices at Durham Regional Hospital, North Carolina Specialty Hospital, James E. Davis Surgery Center, Granville Medical Center, and Lincoln Community Health Center.
