David B. Musante, M.D.

Biography:

Dr. Musante is a graduate of University of Virginia School of Medicine in Charlottesville, Virginia. He has training in neurological surgery at the University of Washington in Seattle, Washington and orthopaedic surgery at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, North Carolina. He has fellowship training in spinal surgery at the Texas Back Institute in Plano, Texas.

Dr. Musante is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, American Medical Association, the North American Spine Society, the Spine Arthroplasty Society, the North Carolina Spine Association, the North Carolina Medical Society, and the Durham-Orange County Medical Society.

Dr. Musante devotes his practice to the treatment of a wide range of spinal problems including degenerative cervical and lumbar disorders, disc herniation, stenosis, deformity, scoliosis, tumors, and trauma. His surgical expertise includes minimally invasive spinal surgery, motion preservation technology and artificial disc replacement.

Dr. Musante practices at Durham Regional Hospital, North Carolina Specialty Hospital, Person Memorial Hospital, Granville Medical Center and Lincoln Community Health Center.
