Biography:
Dr. Lynch is a native of Alexandria, VA. He completed an undergraduate degree in Environmental Science from the University of California at Berkeley in 1994. He received his MD from the Eastern Virginia Medical School in 2002. He then completed a residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of Virginia in 2006, the last year of which he served as Chief Resident. During his residency, Dr. Lynch served as team physician to the University of Virginia men’s rowing team as well as an assistant team physician for two high school football teams. He also assisted as part of the medical staff at over 20 running and triathlon events, ranging from high school cross country races to marathons.
Dr. Lynch is board eligible in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and his clinical interests include general musculoskeletal and sports medicine, electrodiagnostic testing, and the treatment of acute and chronic pain. His professional association memberships include: the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, the Physiatric Association of Spine, Sports, and Occupational Rehabilitation, the American College of Sports Medicine, the American Association of Neuromuscular and Electrodiagnostic Medicine, the North American Spine Society, and the International Spine Intervention Society.
