Dr. Miller grew up in Upstate New York and graduated from Cornell University in Ithaca, NY. He then received his medical degree at SUNY Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse, NY, followed by a surgical internship at UNC Chapel Hill in Chapel Hill, NC. He returned to SUNY Upstate Medical Center for his Orthopaedic Residency and then began practicing Orthopaedic Surgery in Burlington, NC in 1979. Dr. Miller has served as Chief of Surgery and Chief of Staff for Alamance Regional Medical Center. Dr. Miller performs arthroscopic surgery of the shoulder and knee, various hand surgeries, hip and knee joint replacement, foot, and trauma surgeries.
