Karen Hood was a double major in both biology and communications at Charleston Southern University. She continued her education to earn her master’s degree in medicine and physician assistant studies at Trevecca Nazarene University.
She’s a member of several professional organizations including: the American Academy of Physician Assistants, the South Carolina Academy of Physician Assistants, and the Physician Assistants in Orthopedic Surgery. She’s board certified by the National Commissions on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
